EU economies can start to recover from this massive financial hit, and then the military conflict in Ukraine begins. Put all that together with a strive for cleaner energy and political factors, and you get the recipe for record-breaking energy prices. <\/p>\n\n<p>As humans, we tend to think that the grass is always greener on the other side. However, when it comes to the prices of electricity and fuel, the &#8220;other side&#8221; might be outside of the EU. Currently, the lowest prices are in Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Germany. What is an interesting fact here is that the current price in Bulgaria is 0.483 per liter. And when it comes to LPG used for motor vehicles, Bulgarians also receive a discount of 0.13 EUR per liter of fuel. It is cheaper than it used to be! The only other country in the Union with a price below EUR 0.70 is Poland. <\/p>\n\n<p>On the other hand, the prices in Sweden, Spain, Slovenia, Germany, and Greece are all over 1 EUR. In case you want to keep driving your high-performance and high-consumption American car, we suggest going to Malta, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Slovenia, or Poland. There you can find petrol for less than 1.5 EUR. In case you&#8217;re planning to visit Denmark, Finland, Greece, or the Netherlands, we suggest finding another way to transport yourself. Unless you live in Malta, you&#8217;d be paying at least 1.65 EUR per liter for it. And if you&#8217;re unlucky enough to be in Sweden, Netherlands, Greece, Germany, Finland, Denmark, or Belgium, the amount you&#8217;ll need to prepare per liter would be over 2 EUR. <\/p>\n\n<p>To sum it up, electricity prices are coming down compared to the shocking prices we saw a few months ago, but fuel is still pretty expensive. It might be a good time to start using your bycicle more. However, if you don&#8217;t want to give up on using your car, just find a <a href=\"https:\/\/atena.sk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">job<\/a> that pays more to keep your finances in balance. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are energy prices insanely high only in my home country?
