Det vil ogs\u00e5 v\u00e6re de familiemedlemmene som ikke finner tid til \u00e5 bes\u00f8ke andre tider i l\u00f8pet av \u00e5ret. Julemiddagen har en litt annen form i hvert land, som er basert p\u00e5 spesifikke tradisjoner.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Julebord i Tyskland  <\/h2>\n\n<p>I Tyskland varierer festm\u00e5ltidet fra region til region. En av tyskernes favorittjuleretter er p\u00f8lser med potetsalat &#8211; med eller uten majones. Da er bakt and og g\u00e5s eller kokt skinke popul\u00e6re. Andre steder foretrekker de fisk med salat. I Baden spiser de karpe, i andre deler foretrekker de \u00f8rret og \u00e5l. Tradisjonelle inkluderer konserver. Som suppe dominerer suppe med leverboller. Maten som skiller \u00d8sterrike fra andre land er maisgr\u00f8t med rosiner og epler toppet med kirseb\u00e6rlik\u00f8r. En spesifikk skikk som er tradisjonell for dette landet er den s\u00e5kalte gourmetismen. Folk m\u00f8tes ved et spesielt bord som verten forbereder r\u00e5varer til. Av disse lager alle deretter mat til seg selv i en panne. Denne skikken har blitt bevart takket v\u00e6re den tidligere nederlandske kolonien &#8211; Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Julebord i Kroatia<\/h2>\n\n<p>Fasting observeres, s\u00e5 hovedretten er blekksprut, torsk p\u00e5 forskjellige m\u00e5ter eller en annen type fisk (karpe, gjedde) med bakte poteter og potetsalat. Torsk lages oftest i olivenolje, persille og hvitl\u00f8k. Til slutt m\u00e5 julekaker ikke g\u00e5 glipp av. P\u00e5 grunn av fasten ble det ikke servert kj\u00f8tt f\u00f8r midnattsmessen. Julaften middag inkludert epler, n\u00f8tter, hvitl\u00f8k og honning, som folk vokste selv. Pal\u00f3cs (etnografisk gruppe) spiste hvitl\u00f8k for \u00e5 opprettholde sin helse for det f\u00f8lgende \u00e5ret. Hvert medlem av familien sprakk en mutter, og hvis han var frisk, betydde det at den som spiste det, ville v\u00e6re sunn det neste \u00e5ret. Hvis de br\u00f8t en d\u00e5rlig n\u00f8tt, ble de sannsynligvis syke neste \u00e5r. Eplet ble kuttet av familiens overhode i like mange biter som det var folk ved bordet. Det var ogs\u00e5 valmuegr\u00f8t (guba) p\u00e5 julebordet, som ble vannet med varm s\u00f8t melk. Et sted, blant julerettene var inkludert valmuefr\u00f8, valn\u00f8tt eller cottage cheese toasts.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Middagen begynner med en sk\u00e5l med et glass vin. Tradisjonelle retter inkluderer gulasjsuppe eller k\u00e5lsuppe med sopp. Noen steder serveres pamp\u00fa\u0161iky eller sjokoladen\u00f8tt julekaker, men b\u00f8nner, linser og dumplings tilberedes ogs\u00e5. Senere ble stekt fisk og syltede poteter med l\u00f8k en tradisjon. For tiden blir krydret fiskesuppe, hal\u00e1szl\u00e9, oftest konsumert. For bulgarere er de s\u00e5kalte sarmi typiske. Denne retten best\u00e5r av ris innpakket i surk\u00e5l eller drueblader, vanligvis er det ogs\u00e5 kj\u00f8tt i den, men p\u00e5 julaften ikke for fasting. Paprika fylt med ris eller b\u00f8nner er popul\u00e6r. Typisk er en s\u00f8t gresskarpai &#8211; tikvenik. En etablert tradisjon er servering av flere kurs. Det m\u00e5 v\u00e6re minst 7 av dem (i noen familier er det ogs\u00e5 9,11 eller 13 av dem).<br\/>Tradisjonelt bulgarsk br\u00f8d tilberedes og serveres, som er dekorert. Det kalles pita. En mynt settes inn i den. Det sies at den som mottar et stykke med en mynt, vil v\u00e6re heldig gjennom det kommende \u00e5ret. Et interessant faktum er at bordet ikke rengj\u00f8res etter middagen, det er igjen hele natten.
