Ndryshe nga format e tjera t\u00eb demenc\u00ebs, si s\u00ebmundja e Alzheimerit, e cila prek kryesisht kujtes\u00ebn, FTD prek kryesisht lobet frontale dhe t\u00eb p\u00ebrkohshme t\u00eb trurit. K\u00ebto fusha rregullojn\u00eb sjelljen, personalitetin, gjuh\u00ebn dhe vendimmarrjen. Ky dallim \u00ebsht\u00eb shum\u00eb i r\u00ebnd\u00ebsish\u00ebm p\u00ebr kujdestar\u00ebt dhe an\u00ebtar\u00ebt e familjes.
