Men denna brist har naturligtvis en mycket<strong> negativ inverkan p\u00e5<\/strong> befolkningens<strong> h\u00e4lsa<\/strong>. Situationen \u00e4r inte annorlunda f\u00f6r<strong> v\u00e5rdare och \u00e4ldreomsorgspersonal<\/strong>, som d\u00e4rf\u00f6r inte har n\u00e5gon som kan ta hand om dem. Det r\u00e5der brist p\u00e5 \u00f6ver <strong>en miljon <\/strong>v\u00e5rdpersonal i Europeiska unionen. Denna siffra \u00e4r f\u00f6r h\u00f6g. Att garantera en adekvat h\u00e4lso- och sjukv\u00e5rd borde vara en <strong>n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndighet<\/strong> i alla l\u00e4nder. Den b\u00f6r vara tillg\u00e4nglig f\u00f6r alla, oavsett ekonomisk st\u00e4llning.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Brist p\u00e5 medicinsk personal och sjuksk\u00f6terskor &#8211; vilka \u00e4r konsekvenserna?  <\/h3>\n\n<p>Bristen p\u00e5 medicinsk personal, l\u00e4kare och sjuksk\u00f6terskor g\u00f6r att m\u00e4nniskor inte f\u00e5r l\u00e4mplig v\u00e5rd, vilket p\u00e5verkar deras h\u00e4lsa. Vi v\u00e4ntar l\u00e4nge hos l\u00e4karna, inte bara i v\u00e4ntrummet n\u00e4r vi \u00e4ntligen \u00e4r d\u00e4r, utan ocks\u00e5 p\u00e5 sj\u00e4lva <strong>m\u00f6tet<\/strong>, eftersom m\u00e5nga m\u00e4nniskor beh\u00f6ver medicinsk hj\u00e4lp. Vi kommer inte att f\u00e5 detta f\u00f6rr\u00e4n senare p\u00e5 grund av de <strong>l\u00e5nga v\u00e4ntetiderna<\/strong> som finns n\u00e4stan \u00f6verallt, vilket <strong>f\u00f6rdr\u00f6jer <\/strong>eventuell <strong>behandling eftersom<\/strong> sjukdomen uppt\u00e4cks senare. I vissa fall <strong>kan det<\/strong> redan vara <strong>f\u00f6r sent<\/strong>, och om patienten hade f\u00e5tt behandling tidigare hade hans eller hennes liv kunnat r\u00e4ddas.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Bristen p\u00e5 v\u00e5rdpersonal har ocks\u00e5 en<strong> negativ inverkan p\u00e5 de \u00e4ldres h\u00e4lsa<\/strong>, som d\u00e5 m\u00e5ste placeras p\u00e5 ett v\u00e5rdhem eller p\u00e5 egen hand. D\u00e4r f\u00e5r de inte samma <strong>bekv\u00e4ma v\u00e5rd <\/strong>som i hemtj\u00e4nst dygnet runt. De riskerar att drabbas av olika infektioner fr\u00e5n andra klienter i hemmet, vilket <strong>kan <\/strong><strong> \u00e4ventyra deras liv<\/strong> i f\u00f6rtid. Men det r\u00e5der ocks\u00e5 brist p\u00e5 v\u00e5rdpersonal p\u00e5 v\u00e5rdhemmen, d\u00e4r det finns f\u00f6r f\u00e5 anst\u00e4llda f\u00f6r de m\u00e5nga klienter som de <strong>inte kan ta hand om individuellt<\/strong>.
