On Friday, unusual yellow Saint Nicholas visited us in Atena. He flew with an angel and the devil from hell came too.
We enjoyed Friday night traditionally in the passage of Tiffany, that was full of St. Nicholas spirit. Everyone, especially the youngest, was waiting with an excitement for the arrival of Yellow Nicholas. The atmosphere was reinforced by fire in the fireplace and Christmas songs.
The angel with the devil came first to cheer us up with their presence. The devil, as it is in his nature, scared the children a little, but nice Saint Nicholas´s face made everyone calm and relaxed. He settled right into a large yellow chair and was looking forward to meet children. Children sang to Saint Nicholas nice Christmas songs and for their courage they received a package full of treats Every child was praised for being good whole year. Nicholas was not discouraged by the cold outside and accompanied by an angel and devil delighted children on Christmas markets too.
During the evening, the children were enterteined with face painting and baloons animals. We could try also children´s and adults punch and great pancakes.
When Saint Nicholas finished his job, he said goodbye to everyone and flew back to the North Pole. We look forward to meet him again next year.
