Salary increases at all levels

At Atena, we value our caregivers and the important work they do every day. From 1. On September 2024, we will again increase the salaries of all carers working in Germany. This increase comes right after the recent increase, but we believe your hard work deserves every one of them.

This is what the new salary structure looks like:

  • Language level: A0/A1/A2/B1: 1 700 €
  • Language level: : B2: 1 850 €
  • Language level: C1/C2: 1 900 €

New transport bonus throughout the year

At the beginning of the summer, we introduced a special transportation bonus for caregivers who completed a 30-day tour during the summer. The response was very positive, so we decided to offer this bonus year-round. From 1. On September 2024, each carer who completes a 30-day tour will receive a transport bonus of €80.

This bonus is our way of supporting your travel to and from the workplace. We know that caring can be challenging, and we want to make sure you have the resources you need to focus on your important work.

New bonus for particularly challenging cases

We understand that not all caregiving roles are the same. Some patients require more intensive care and attention, and we want to acknowledge the increased effort these cases require. That’s why we’re introducing a new bonus for carers who work with particularly challenging patients.

This bonus will depend on the severity of the case and will be individual. It is our way of ensuring that carers who take on more demanding responsibilities are fairly rewarded for their work. We believe in rewarding your skills and commitment, especially when you go above and beyond to provide the best possible care.
